STATUS Language Centre has been administering the PEIC (Pearson) international exam since 2012 and prepares students for it and for the NMT in English — in Poltava and online.

PEIC (Pearson English International Certificate) is an international English exam on the CEFR scale. It tests how you use the language in real situations, not how well you recite the rules.
The certificate is accepted by universities and employers in over 100 countries.
The result does not lapse: there is no need to sit the exam again in two years.

We are the only authorised PEIC test centre in the Poltava region.
One for adults and teenagers, one for younger children. The level for each is set by a placement test before registration.
Adults and teenagers from 14
The full exam, with a written and a spoken part. It confirms your level for study, work or an interview at an international company.
Children aged 7-12
An exam built like a game: the child gets their first international experience without the stress and sees that English actually works.
Both parts on the same day. The written papers are marked by Pearson in the United Kingdom; the speaking test is conducted by a certified examiner and recorded for Pearson.
Reading, writing, listening, vocabulary and grammar. The papers are marked by Pearson examiners in the United Kingdom.
A conversation with a certified examiner at the centre. The recording is sent to Pearson for sample checking.
The certificate arrives from the United Kingdom stating your CEFR level. It has no expiry date.
Sittings run on set dates and registration closes in advance. The centre manager will tell you the nearest date and the deadline.
We prepare students both for PEIC itself and for the NMT in English. Online or offline in Poltava, in a group or one-to-one.
