Lessons and format
Online or in person — how do lessons work?
Both. In person — 66 Sobornosti St., office 712, Poltava. Online — on an interactive platform with a personal account and round-the-clock access to your materials.
How much of a lesson is speaking?
Up to 90% of it. We teach you to hold a real conversation — to listen, to ask again, to make your case — rather than recite rules. Grammar and vocabulary arrive through situations, not lists.
How long is a lesson and how often are they?
Adults — 90 minutes, twice or three times a week on a fixed timetable. Children — 60 or 90 minutes twice a week. One-to-one lessons run 60 or 90 minutes at a time you pick yourself, between 8:00 and 22:00.
How many people are in a group?
Offline — 6-9, online — 10-12, corporate groups — 6-8. Groups are single-level: everyone is placed by their entry test result.
How long does a course take?
Adults — 60 lessons: five months at the intensive pace (three times a week) or eight months at the steadier one. Children — 80 lessons, a school year. Corporate programmes start from three months.
Is there homework?
Yes — writing and creative tasks that lock in what you said out loud in class. You do them on the platform, and they stay in your account with the teacher's feedback for the whole course, so progress is something you can look at.
What does the personal account give me?
The interactive coursebook and materials around the clock, plus homework, results and the teacher's comments in one place. The account stays with you until the course ends.
Who teaches?
Teachers with degrees in education and philology and international teaching certificates — CELTA, TKT, TESOL, TEFL. Several of them are PEIC examiners.
Getting started
How do I find out my level?
Leave a request — we run a short entry test and a consultation, pin down your goals and place you in a group on the CEFR scale, from A1 to C2.
I'm starting from zero, or haven't studied in years. Too late?
No. We open groups at beginner level and work with everyone from a first-timer to a company director. The entry test exists precisely so you end up among people at your level.
Can I try before paying?
Yes — two trial lessons, so you can judge the pace, the workload and whether it suits you. We sign the agreement only after them.
How do I sign up, step by step?
A request, an entry test, a consultation about your goals, the pick of a programme and a teacher, two trial lessons, the agreement — then lessons begin. It usually takes a few days end to end.
When do new groups start?
We open groups throughout the year, with the biggest intakes at the start of the school year and in winter. Current starts are in the news strip on the home page, and the manager will name the exact date for your level.
Prices and payment
How much does it cost?
Every price is per hour of lessons. Group lessons start from UAH 250 for children and UAH 350 for adults; one-to-one from UAH 750 for children and UAH 950 for adults. A lesson runs 60 or 90 minutes depending on the course, so your manager works out the cost of a lesson and of the whole course after the entry test. For companies we price per person against the agreed programme.
How do I pay?
Two ways: the whole course up front, or month by month. You choose, and we write the terms into the agreement before lessons start.
Are there discounts?
Yes — for paying the course in full and for a second family member. The manager will tell you the current rate.
What does the study agreement fix?
The price, the length and the result — the level you finish the course with. We sign it after the two trial lessons, so you already know what you are agreeing to.
Children and teenagers
From what age do you take children?
From six. Groups split into children aged 6-12 and teenagers aged 13-18, with NMT preparation running separately.
What are children's lessons like?
English 100% of the time, so the child lives in the language instead of translating it. The format is playful, with an interactive coursebook in their personal account. Every programme meets the requirements of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and the CEFR.
How do parents see their child's progress?
A direct line to the teacher in a messenger, regular progress checks with a detailed report, and a final year-end exam — with a certificate and recommendations for the year ahead.
How do you prepare for the NMT?
Two courses: a 108-hour year-long one for levels A2-B2 and a 30-hour express one for B2-C1. Beyond the language itself we take the test apart and drill pacing — the score comes from both.
For companies
How does corporate training begin?
With a consultation about the goals of the business, then testing across the team, a programme built around your field, and trial lessons so people meet the format and the teacher.
Where and when do team lessons run?
Online or at your premises — Poltava and the region. We fit the timetable around how the company works, so the training does not eat into the working day.
What reporting does the company get?
A monthly report to the company's coordinator on every employee's progress. A methodologist and a personal manager run the group, and we adjust the programme when the business needs change.
Exams and certificates
What is PEIC and why would I need it?
PEIC (Pearson English International Certificate) is an international English exam. We are the only authorised testing centre in the Poltava region and have been running the exams since 2012.
Do I get a document at the end of the course?
Yes, a certificate stating your level on the CEFR scale. Children also get recommendations for what to study next.
How do I move up to the next level?
Through the final exam: a written grammar test, a vocabulary check, listening and a speaking part. Pass it and you move on.
