Terms of Service
The rules you agree to when you use this website and create an account on it.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
These terms govern the use of the STATUS Language Centre website and of the personal account on it. The other party is Serhii Haiduchenko, sole trader (tax number 2894410619), 66 Sobornosti Street, Poltava, Ukraine. Below we call ourselves "we", "us" and "our"; "you" is the person using the site.
The site is informational: it describes our courses, lets you send an enquiry and lets you create an account. The teaching itself is arranged separately with you, and these terms do not replace that arrangement.
By using the site you accept the current version of these terms. Please note: one of the sections below limits our liability.
Your Account
- Only an adult may create an account. If you are a parent or guardian of a student, register the account in your own name, not the child's.
- Give accurate details, and update them in your profile if they change.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your account safe. If you suspect somebody else has used it, change your password and let us know.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Accounts created by automated means are not allowed.
Enquiries and Enrolment
- An enquiry sent through the form is a request for a conversation, not a contract. We get in touch afterwards to discuss level, schedule and price.
- Course and price information on the site is for guidance and is not a public offer. Final terms are agreed with you personally.
- Tuition is paid outside this website. The site takes no payments and stores no card details.
What You May Not Do
- Use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes other people's rights.
- Try to reach other people's accounts, or parts of the system that are not meant for visitors.
- Interfere with the site: bulk automated requests, attempts to bypass the form protection, deliberate overloading.
- Send abusive messages, advertising or harmful links through the form.
Site Content
- The texts, photographs, design, logo and name of the language centre belong to us or are used by us lawfully. They may not be copied for your own commercial use without our written permission.
- Sharing links to pages of this site is, of course, welcome.
- What you send us — the text of an enquiry, a profile photo — stays yours. You allow us to use it only to reply to you and to show your own profile back to you.
Availability
- The site is provided as it is. We look after it, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service: there are planned updates, failures at our providers, and circumstances beyond our control.
- We may change the site, and add or remove parts of it.
- We handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy and for no other purpose.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, lost data or other damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, from the acts of third parties, or from unauthorised access to your data where it did not happen through our fault. This limitation applies to the extent permitted by the law of Ukraine and does not cover damage caused intentionally.
In plain words: we do everything reasonable to keep the site running and your data safe, but we do not take responsibility for consequences outside our control.
Ending Your Use
- You can delete your account at any time from the profile page. An email asking us to delete it does not count as deletion — the action has to be taken in the profile.
- Once deleted, the account becomes inaccessible immediately and, after 30 days, the data is gone for good. Until then you can restore the account simply by signing in.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. We will explain why, unless doing so would endanger other users.
- Abuse or threats directed at our staff are grounds for closing an account immediately.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not agree, you can stop using the site and delete your account.
Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We try to settle any dispute by talking first and, if that fails, through the courts under the procedure the law prescribes.
